Veterans Benefits

Veterans have EARNED their benefits. We want to make sure that if they are eligible they get the benefits that they have EARNED. There are several sources to help get the benefits. The VA offers several different kinds of benefits. It is best to go to the local VA Campus & ask for help. Some of the benefits include VA Disability.

Here is a good link to familiarize yourself with what this is:

Then for Assisted Living & Adult Family Homes, the VA has a program called Aids & Attendance. It is this program that help to pay for housing & care when needed. This program is only a tiny portion of what all the VFW can do for you, if you have any other questions just ask – they are the experts.

Roger & Debbie Proctor & the local VFW have been a tremendous asset to our Veterans over the years & have served our Veterans proudly.

Give them a call, they are great people to work with. They will help find the DD_214, marriage certificate & death certificate if you no longer have a copy. They will fill out the application for you & file with an “Intent to File" placeholder for you. Once the application is approved it goes back to the intent to File date.

Best of all . . . it is FREE!
